RBT / ABA Therapist – Virginia Beach, VA (Afternoon Shift)

Full-Time | In-Home or Clinic-Based | $21.00–$26.00 per hour

Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is seeking a committed and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Virginia Beach team. This role provides consistent afternoon and early-evening ABA sessions for a single assigned client and may take place in the home or in our clinic , depending on client needs.

Position Details

• Location: Virginia Beach, VA
  
• Setting: May include in-home or clinic-based services
  
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM
  
• Status: Full-time (30+ hours/week)
  
• Pay: $21.00–$26.00/hr (based on experience & certification)
  
• Supervision: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy following treatment plans developed by a BCBA
  
• Support skill-building in communication, social interaction, behavior reduction, and daily living
  
• Record session data accurately using electronic tools
  
• Maintain professionalism, ethical boundaries, and confidentiality
  
• Collaborate with your BCBA supervisor on goals, progress, and client needs
  
• Create a safe, supportive, and predictable environment during each session
  

Required Qualifications

• Active RBT certification
  
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM
  
• Consistent, reliable transportation within the Virginia Beach area
  
• Ability to pass required background checks
  
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children
  
• Comfortable providing services either in-home or in-clinic
  
• Strong documentation and data-collection skills
  
• Familiarity with trauma-informed or relationship-based approaches
