About the Job:

The role of an Administrator in an Assisted Living facility is multifaceted, involving oversight of daily operations, ensuring the well-being of residents, and managing both staff and resources. Must have 1 year of experience being an administrator.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures, including safety protocols, health regulations, and resident care guidelines.
  • Manage the facility's budget, including staffing, supplies, and maintenance costs.
  • Handle the admissions process, including assessments, contracts, and care plans for new residents.


Resident Care and Well-being:

  • Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all residents by managing healthcare services and coordinating with medical professionals.
  • Address resident concerns, needs, and requests while ensuring personalized care.
  • Regularly review care plans to ensure residents receive appropriate levels of care based on their evolving needs.
  • Oversee recreational programs to promote residents' social engagement and mental health.


Staff Management:

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff, including nurses, caregivers, administrative personnel, and maintenance staff.
  • Ensure staff compliance with state regulations and the facility's internal policies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, manage staff schedules, and handle conflict resolution or disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Promote professional development and continuing education for the staff.


Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure the facility complies with state and federal regulations, including health and safety codes.
  • Manage inspections, licensing, and certification renewals.
  • Keep updated on changes in healthcare laws, assisted living regulations, and industry best practices.


Family and Community Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families, addressing concerns, providing updates on residents' conditions, and facilitating family involvement in care plans.
  • Promote an open line of communication between families, staff, and residents.
  • Marketing and community outreach event.
  • Keeping census at or above 90%.
