Position: Electrical Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Gloucester, MA

Duration: Contract

Role Summary

Seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support design, engineering changes, and build activities for semiconductor capital equipment. The role focuses on electrical schematics, cable harness design, and close collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable harnesses using Pro-E / Creo
• Create and maintain BOMs and electrical documentation
• Drive engineering changes through ECO, ECN, VPR, and QN processes using Agile PLM / Windchill
• Provide onsite build support and troubleshoot wiring, connectors, and power distribution
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Required Skills

• Cable harness design, wire routing, grounding, shielding, and connector selection
• Ability to read, interpret, and redline electrical drawings
• Experience with change control and configuration management
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Semiconductor equipment experience
• EMC/EMI, UL/CE exposure
• Vendor coordination and FAI support
