Software Asset Management & Business Continuity Planning Specialist

Seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire software lifecycle and ensuring our organization is prepared for unexpected events through robust continuity planning. Your expertise will be critical in minimizing risks related to software license compliance and safeguarding uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of software licenses: procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Monitor and optimize software usage across the organization to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop, implement, and update business continuity plans (BCPs) to ensure organizational resilience.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential threats and their effects.
• Create and maintain detailed operational procedures for crisis management.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders during emergencies.
• Regularly test and refine continuity plans based on results and evolving conditions.
• Deliver training and awareness programs on SAM and BCP for staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software asset management and business continuity planning.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing and compliance requirements.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, ISO 22301) are a plus.
