Job Description
The RN will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to obstetric patients, supporting women and families through labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients in accordance with clinical standards and hospital policies
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and postpartum/newborn care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (American Heart Association) required
- NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics) required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (OB experience preferred)
Experience Level
- 2 5 years of nursing experience preferred
- Associate level; no management experience required
Schedule & Employment Details

- 12-hour evening shifts
