Real Estate Property Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Real Estate Property Accountant to lead property-level reporting for a range of assets within a growing industrial fund or portfolio. The Property Accountant (PA) will work under the supervision of the Portfolio Accountants and the Accounting Manager to support a fast-paced and expanding enterprise. This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 per year, along with a 10%-15% bonus package.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close for a portfolio of properties, ensuring timely financial reporting
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly/year-end CAM reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivables, cash receipts, and initiate cash transfers (wires and checks)
• Collaborate with asset and property managers on annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and debt compliance
• Assist in annual audit preparation and provide support for various accounting tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• One to two years of accounting experience in real estate
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel
• Prior knowledge of development accounting 
• Experience with Yardi accounting software
