COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Woodridge IL 60517 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $24.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Compounding Pharmacy Technician willwork under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare IV antibiotics and TPNs in a clean, safe, and compliant environment. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented technicians who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compound sterile IV medications (including antibiotics and TPN) using aseptic technique.
- Work closely with pharmacists to prepare and fill IV prescriptions accurately.
- Enter and verify prescription and billing data in the pharmacy system.
- Prepackage and label medications according to state and federal regulations.
- Assist pharmacists with final verification and delivery coordination.
- Maintain organized, compliant inventory of medications and supplies.
- Support a clean, calibrated, and safe sterile compounding area.
COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | REQUIREMENTS :
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Compound sterile IV medications (including antibiotics and TPN) using aseptic technique.
- Work closely with pharmacists to prepare and fill IV prescriptions accurately.
- Enter and verify prescription and billing data in the pharmacy system.
- Prepackage and label medications according to state and federal regulations.
- Assist pharmacists with final verification and delivery coordination.
- Maintain organized, compliant inventory of medications and supplies.
- Support a clean, calibrated, and safe sterile compounding area.
