Responsibilities

Overview Section

This position is for Novolex.

Summary: This position is responsible for the repair of all equipment related to plant operations services and facilities back to OEM specifications. Incumbent works closely with the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Engineering Manager and other maintenance team members to provide preventative maintenance to meet production goals ensure a safe work environment and meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain all production machines and plant facilitys mechanical equipment.
• Detects and diagnoses mechanical failures including pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions of equipment repairs and replaces as necessary.
• Utilizes precision measuring tools/devices hand tools and testing instruments to ensure equipment installation and alignment are within OEM specifications.
• The ability to read and understand mechanical prints and technical diagrams for the installation and repair of equipment
• Completes oil and lube cycles on all equipment at the manufacturers recommended intervals.
• Maintains housekeeping in areas of assigned responsibility to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned including but not limited to equipment tooling changeovers and equipment startups.
• Completes all documentation in Maintenance Connection including WR and PM documents.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Must have no more than 4 attendance points
• Must not have a step 2 disciplinary action within the last year
• Previous experience with Thermoforming machines preferred
