Job Description

Morrison Security Corporation is currently looking for experienced Loss Prevention Agents to work in the City of Chicago or Homer Glenn. Openings are available now.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years LP experience in Grocery Industry
  • Current PERC Card
  • Must be knowledgeable in the elements needed for apprehensions, as well as experience in following those elements when conducting apprehensions.
  • Reliable transportation, as employees will travel from site to site (Northern/Northwestern Suburbs and Downtown Chicago)
  • Great observation and communications skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be flexible in available daytime hours and commit to working weekends
  • Must be able to physically walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be knowledgeable of Loss Prevention procedures and apprehensions

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters.
  • Recover assets and/or make safe, by-the-book, apprehensions.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client apprehension guidelines.
  • Have knowledge of and maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and the preservation of evidence.
  • Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all incidents, merchandise recoveries, and other activities as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager.
  • Testify in court concerning any criminal or civil case.
  • To maintain a professional attitude with sincerity, integrity, and an ongoing dedication to the highest levels of customer service.
