Role Overview:
The Indiana Office of Energy Development is seeking a Policy Intern to join our Office in summer 2026. The intern will support a variety of projects including, but not limited to, researching, analyzing data, and writing on energy policy initiatives. Work will also include developing presentations regarding assigned research projects to disseminate findings and lessons to target audiences. The Policy Intern will also be engaged in related stakeholder outreach.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, be a self-starter and possess an innovative mindset with an eagerness to work alongside and collaborate with a team.
Hourly Rate:
The hourly rate for this position is $16.24 for those who do not hold a bachelor’s degree & $17.24 for those that hold a bachelor’s degree or higher by the time the internship starts.
