Project Estimator

Are you an experienced Project Estimator with a background in painting and glazing? If so, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary: We are seeking a Project Estimator to join the team and support the planning and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate and timely bids. This is primarily an in-office role with some flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for painting and glazing projects
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand scope and specifications
Track project costs and provide regular budget updates
Utilize estimation software and Excel for budgeting and proposal preparation
Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners
Any other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications:

Experience in construction estimating, specifically within painting and/or glazing
Strong knowledge of cost management and budgeting principles
Proficient in Excel
Familiarity with BlueBeam - a major plus
Experience with AutoCAD or drafting - a strong plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Location: Tri-State Area (In-office with some remote flexibility)
