The individual is responsible to development and maintain Global electronics library using the Cadence tool set. As part of the Global Engineering Services team, you will support a diverse set of engineers around the globe. To be considered for this role you will have the ability to work in a fast-paced engineering services group supporting multiple time zones within the US and internationally. CAD Engineer Job Duties

• Responsible to development and maintain Global electronics library using the Cadence tool set.
• As part of the Global Engineering Services team, you will support a diverse set of engineers around the globe.
• Schematic Symbols and Footprint concepts and tools such as Cadence Allegro and System Capture.
• Create footprints by reading device datasheets and/or application notes
• Build schematics symbols for schematic development
• Provide accurately built symbols and footprints to electrical engineers
• Support and maintain client librarian revision control system
• Support engineering community when issues arise
• Systems uses cutting edge technology from Intel, NVIDIA, Xilinx, Altera, Broadcom, among others.
• Creating Footprints and Schematics for PCB Assembly Design

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience

• Systems uses cutting edge technology from Intel, NVIDIA, Xilinx, Altera, Broadcom, among others.
• Excellent math skills
• Strong Organizational and communication skills
• Familiar with electronic part datasheets
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Familiar with creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints
• Library management experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced engineering services group supporting multiple time zones within the US and internationally
• Must be a US Citizen

• Cadence and Allegro
• Knowledge of Cadence Pulse
• AutoCAD
• Ability to work in a fast paced engineering services group supporting multiple time zones within the US and internationally
• Excellent math skills
• Strong Organizational and Communication skills
