Job Description
Some job duties include:
- Preparing drinks: Making coffee, tea, and other drinks, and customizing orders to customer requests
- Serving food: Preparing and serving baked goods, sandwiches, and other light meals
- Customer service: Interacting with customers in a friendly and service-oriented way, getting to know regular customers, and offering suggestions
- Stocking and cleaning: Keeping the work area clean and stocked with supplies, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dishes, and utensils
- Inventory: Keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Working with others: Working with other baristas and cafe staff to prepare drinks and take orders
- Working a flexible schedule: Being able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
