Job Description

• Preparing drinks:  Making coffee, tea, and other drinks, and customizing orders to customer requests 

   

   

• Serving food:  Preparing and serving baked goods, sandwiches, and other light meals 

   

   

• Customer service:  Interacting with customers in a friendly and service-oriented way, getting to know regular customers, and offering suggestions 

   

   

• Stocking and cleaning:  Keeping the work area clean and stocked with supplies, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dishes, and utensils 

   

   

• Inventory:  Keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies as needed 

   

   

• Troubleshooting:  Troubleshooting equipment problems and scheduling repairs 

   

    Training:  Training new baristas 

• Working with others:  Working with other baristas and cafe staff to prepare drinks and take orders 

   

   

• Working a flexible schedule:  Being able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
