A Risk Solutions company is looking for an Azure Data/DevOps Engineer to join their team to prepare the infrastructure for an upcoming multi-year platform modernization effort into Databricks. The ideal resources will have Azure DevOps experience, ETL/data processing expertise, operations/troubleshooting experience, core Java development. It is critical that these candidates have excellent communication skills because they will be presenting on stand ups and interacting with high level internal stakeholders. This team works in a hybrid model onsite in Dayton, OH 1X/week. The pay rate for this role ranges based off years of experience between $60-70/hour.

Skills and Requirements
* 8+ years' of data development experience
* Deep Azure Cloud experience: Databricks, Azure DevOps, ADF, etc.
* Understanding of how large data sets are processed - ETL
* Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
* Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.
* Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems.
* Proficient with SQL
* Ability to interface competently with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
* PowerBI for visualizations
* Java development
